Jennifer is the Director of Network Partnerships at Lead by Learning, where she works to leverage the transformative power of learning. Jennifer leads Lead by Learning’s certificate program and partners with school and district leaders to develop adult learning cultures that support curiosity, connection, and continuous improvement. Previously, Jennifer worked as a high school English teacher, counselor, mentor, and coach. Throughout these experiences, Jennifer has been driven by a desire to create equitable access to educational opportunities and has used classroom-based inquiry to work toward this aim. Past projects include spearheading an inquiry group of high school and community college English teachers, funded by the Foundation for California Community Colleges, to vertically align curriculum so students could successfully matriculate into college English classes. Jennifer also worked on a multi-year, school-wide inquiry, in partnership with Columbia’s Teachers College, on how to support students’ college readiness skills across disciplines. Jennifer received her B.A. in English and her M.A. in Education from UC Berkeley.
