Brooklyn Joseph

Brooklyn (she/her) is a Lead Program Facilitator with Lead by Learning and is passionate about coaching, innovative teaching, and life-long learning.  Born and raised in San Francisco, she began her education career working at Making Waves Education Program in San Francisco, which sparked her passion for education and working to increase equitable outcomes for all students.  She taught Middle School for 15 years in Richmond, CA  before becoming an Instructional Coach and then Assistant Principal at Caliber Beta Academy. Brooklyn holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University and her teaching credential and M.A. in Education from UC Berkeley. When she isn’t working you can find her enjoying good food with friends and family, exploring the beautiful Bay Area,  or reading to prepare for one of her three book clubs.
