Public Learning Live: Get Your Questions Answered
Public Learning Live is a 1-hour, virtual experience held 3 times a year, after-school, for practitioners. This is an opportunity to raise a current problem of practice, as a Public Learner, in community with other practitioners. Colleagues surface uncertainties about student learners, adult learners, organizational leadership, and more.
Revisit and learn more about your favorite Lead by Learning practices, including “Thinking Alone,” Public Learning, and Supportive Challenge with colleagues across education.
Public Learning Live is an opportunity to get your questions answered.
Each session is designed to:
- Build community with inquiry-minded educators and leaders
- Receive thought partnership on a dilemma or question of your choice
- Stay connected to Lead by Learning
Public Learning Live is a safe, courageous, and structured learning space open to educators, classroom teachers, teacher leaders, administrators, district leaders, extended day educators and leaders, non-profit leaders, and other education professionals.

In the words of Mills Teacher Scholars founder Dr. Anna Richert, “It is a relief to name the uncertainty in teaching by framing a question about one’s work. In this way, we undo the myth of certainty that pervades our field these days. It is liberating to know what you know and what you need to know more about so you can continuously improve your practice.”
