More than 270 educators and supporters attended our annual Teacher Inquiry in Action Forum on March 20th! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the teacher leaders who are driving transformation in their districts and schools. Thanks as well to the remarkable teacher scholars and leaders who presented their inquiry learning. Because of all of you, the event was a huge success!
The event opened with a dinner and wine reception and a chance to connect with colleagues from around the Bay.
In the breakout sessions, teacher scholars and leaders presented their inquiry learning, including their successes, challenges, and ongoing questions. Above: teachers from Montalvin Manor Elementary in WCCUSD and Lorenzo Manor Elementary in SLZUSD share their inquiry journeys.
Attendees shared their own questions, dilemmas, and ideas about how teacher leadership can best support transformative learning for adults and students.
In the “Flash”presentations, 15 teacher scholars and leaders presented their inquiry learning to small groups of colleagues in short rounds of listening and discussion. Above: Ericka Montes from Colonial Acres Elementary in SLZUSD shares her inquiry story.
