Building on our Strengths November 30, 2023: Recommit to Beginning of Year Goals to Cultivate Collective Efficacy and Increase Buy-In

It is nearly the midpoint of the school year and the collective visioning and goal-setting experiences of August or September have faded into the past. In the fast-paced, complex arc of a school year, it can be easy for the big picture for student and adult learning to get buried beneath short-term decisions and needs, which makes December an ideal time to pause and return to shared purpose to rejuvenate collective efficacy:

  • What are we trying to do?
  • Why does this matter?
  • How do we know if we are making progress?

Learn from Lead by Learning and educators from Alameda Unified School District to discuss meaningfully returning to your collective “Why” as you prepare for the second half of the school year. Registrants will also receive Lead by Learning’s Making Sense of a Goal Collectively tool from Chapter 4 of our playbook.
