Too often STEAM teachers are working alone within schools and don’t have the opportunity to collaborate with others teaching the same subjects and grappling with the same challenges. Join Oakland Unified Computer Science teacher Sonia Spindt as she demonstrates how the practice of Public Learning has helped to build a strong, ongoing professional learning culture in her CS department. Participants will also experience how this collaboration structure is leading to innovation in developing CS assessments and interventions.
