Fall, 2026 – Strong Start: A Coaching Series for New Site Coordinators
New Site Coordinators are expected to lead staff, build relationships, manage program operations, and create a culture of active and engaged learning—often without a roadmap or ongoing support. Lead by Learning’s Strong Start is that personalized roadmap.
Strong Start is a bi-weekly, six-session virtual coaching series designed specifically for new Site Coordinators in Expanded Learning. Through personalized small-group coaching that is responsive, practice-based, and grounded in what’s actually happening at your sites, you’ll gain practical tools and strategies to navigate the challenges of your new role with confidence.
Between sessions, you’ll implement new approaches in your program, collect real data from your site, and reflect on your learning with colleagues and your designated facilitator. Lead by Learning’s model of try-it-and-reflect helps turn new ideas into intentional leadership practices. Participants also receive a resource library and session materials to support their growth throughout the series.
What Participants Gain:
By the end of the six-meeting series, you will:
- Know — Have a foundational understanding of the key responsibilities, practices, and mindsets that define strong Expanded Learning leadership.
- Feel — Experience greater confidence in their role, connection to peers navigating similar experiences, and a sense that you are not alone.
- Do — Leave each coaching session with a concrete strategy to try and build the habit of collecting data to inform and improve their practice.
Session Logistics:
- Format: 6 biweekly virtual coaching sessions
- Session length: 90 minutes each session
- Group size: 3 participants and 1 facilitator
- Dates: August 28, September 18, October 2, October 16, October 30 and November 13
- Time: 10:00–11:30 AM PST
Who should participate:
This offering is specifically designed for New Site Coordinators in their first 1–2 years.
Supervisors, program directors, and Expanded Learning managers are encouraged to sign up their new Site Coordinators in their organization.
Enrollment is capped at 18 participants (6 groups of 3 participants each) to preserve the depth and personalization of the coaching experience.
Pricing:

Cancellation and payment policy:
You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund up to 30 days in advance of the program. If less than 30 days prior to the program, no refund will be provided.
